There are plenty of places to celebrate the 4th of July in Orange County! If you’re spending Independence Day in hotels closest to Disneyland,
you can celebrate America’s birthday in Anaheim Hills, Fullerton, and many other places.To see a full list, click here!
Anaheim Hills
At Canyon High School, you can participate in the Firecracker 5/10K Run or 2K Walk to celebrate your day off! The race starts at 7am with registration at 5:30am. There is a discount pancake, sausage, orange juice and fresh coffee breakfast available to run/walk participants only at 9am in the Canyon High School Cafeteria. The run is followed by a healthy lifestyle product fair open until 10am. For more information on the race, click here. If you’re celebrating with your pooch, bring him to the Yankee Doodle Dog Show in costume for a chance to win prizes! Food booths will be available at Peralta Park at 12:30pm. You can watch the Fourth of July Parade starting at 3pm at Canyon High. Entertainment will be available at Peralta Park after the parade until 8:50pm. At 9pm, Pyro-Spectacular will put on fireworks. Shuttle buses will be available from 5pm until 10:30pm from the Anaheim Hills Crossroads Shopping Center to Perralta Park every 15 minutes. For more information, click here.
Fullerton
If you’re looking for a traditional Independence Day celebration, head over to Fullerton High School at the corner of Lemon and Berkeley. Live music and additional entertainment such games will be available from 5pm to 9pm. Fireworks will begin at 9pm and last for around 20 minutes. Food will be served by local charity organizations for fundraising. Funnel cakes, popcorn, beef jerky, Mexican food, Thai food, ice cream, pizza and more will be served. No alcohol will be served or is allowed in the area. No glass containers, smoking, umbrellas and pets are allowed. Parking is free and available at the North Orange County Courthouse, the Wilshire parking structure, the Plummer Structure and street parking. For more information, click here.
