From restaurant week to the annual BBQ festival, the sun soaking region of Orange County is filled with an unbelievable lineup of food loving events, and starting this year the Restaurant Association of the OC is adding a new liquid twist to this list with the first annual Wine and Beer week. With over 50+ restaurants throughout the county participating in this two week event and a variety of delectable dishes on the menu, there will be enough pairings to satisfy anyone’s taste. So grab a few friends and make a date to attend what is sure to be one of Orange Country’s most popular food and beverage social affairs.       

The OC Wine and Beer Week will replace the Fall Restaurant Week because organizers want to add a little variety to the region. Additionally, this new delicious event gives local foodies a chance to learn more about the beverages that complete a meal. Some of the restaurants that will be involved in the event include Clancy’s Clubhouse, French 75, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Zimzala. The way that it will work is that for both Wine and Beer Week, each participating restaurant will have a prix fixe menu with a drink pairing offered with each meal, giving everyone a chance to try a variety of dishes and beverages. This will make drinking both enjoyable and educational.       

Wine week and Beer week will occur back to back so anyone interested in one over the other won’t have to wait very long to have his/her turn. Taking place in the breezy fall season, this will be the perfect opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and try a variety of OC restaurants without an expensive check at the end. So mark your calendars and prepare your stomach for this exceptionally delicious combination of food, wine, beer and fun!   

Event Details

OC Wine Week is from September 25 – October 1.

OC Beer Week is from October 2 – October 8.
