It’s time for spring break in Orange County! What better way to celebrate than with bubbles? The Discovery Science Center is holding
the Bubblefest event from March 31 to April 22. It’s a great event for the whole family to enjoy!
Bubblefest is full of hands-on bubble activities from creating giant bubbles to learning about the science behind the object. The festival is an outdoor event with an inflatable play zone, water spheres, interactive science exhibits and much more.
You can also purchase tickets to the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, here at the Discovery Science Center from New York City. The show is known worldwide for its stunning artistry. It includes a bubble carousel, bubbles within bubbles, spinning, bouncing and even smoking bubbles! You’ll be able to see bubbles of all shapes and sizes during the show! Showtimes are 9:30am, 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, 5pm and 6:30pm from March 31 to April 15. Starting April 16, showtimes will revert to only the afternoon hours. Tickets to the show are $7 and $2 for members.
The Discovery Science Center is a great place to bring the kids for a day of hands-on learning and science fun. The center has over 100 interactive exhibits in themed areas. It is a nonprofit organization that assists teachers and educating young minds on science, math and technology through its many exhibits and programs.
From November 18 to April 15, the center will be hosting a special Star Wars exhibit that brings fantasy to reality. Where science meets imagination, you can build and test your own robots and speeders, ride a hovercraft, and play with droids and land speeders. Real artifacts, costumes and props from Star Wars are displayed at this exhibit. Member exhibit admission is $6 while at the door is $8. Guests also have the chance to virtually jump to light speed in a full-size replica of the Millennium Falcon for $5.
General Center admission is $14.95 for adults, $12.95 for children under 14 and seniors. Visit the Center today to learn about the wonders of science!
