If you’re in Orange County this October, there are still two weekends left of the Huntington Beach Oktoberfest! Celebrate with live Oom Pa Pah Bands from Germany every Wednesday through Sunday from September 4th to October 30th.
Sunday is the day of Kinderfest, an Oktoberfest Day especially for families. Children can jump in the moon bounce and play carnival games. Families can also watch dachshund races for an extra $1 at 3pm. Enjoy a full bar and BBQ while watching the tiny dogs race! There is a happy hour special every Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to 6:30pm offering $2 off drink specials.
Huntington Beach throws an Oktoberfest celebration every year since the late 1970s. Every year, Oktoberfest brings music, food and fun to the Old World shopping, dining, art and entertainment center. Old World Restaurant puts on the event and serves authentic German cuisine such as sauerbraten, spatzle, roulade, Wiener schnitzel, bratwurst, ribs and hamburgers. Old World also offers fresh baked German Bread, apple strudel, wedding cakes and pretzels. Regular Happy Hour is Tuesday through Friday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm with $1 Taco Tuesdays from 5pm-9pm.
Every Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 10pm is family night, and admission is free for everyone. Friday and Saturday adult (21+) admission is $15. Every Sunday 2pm-7:30pm is Family Day and adult admission is only $5. There are also special VIP areas for groups with cocktail or food servers that can be reserved for $100-$800.
Huntington Beach’s Oktoberfest is sure to be a fun event, so if you’re in Orange County, stop by to eat, drink and be merry!
