It's Time for Holiday Shopping at the Patchwork Festival in Santa Ana!
If you’re spending Thanksgiving in Orange County, you’ll be able to get some holiday shopping done at the Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival in Santa Ana during the weekend. It’s a great place to find the latest arts and crafts gifts for friends and family!
Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival is a bi-annual event in Southern California that showcases local emerging artists, crafts and designers. The festival offers clothing for men, women and children, handbags, accessories, art, ceramics, home & garden finds, toys, jewelry, paper goods, pet gear, bath and knitting goods. Booths from 70-100 local independent artists, designers and crafters will be at the show. Local restaurants and food trucks will host booths at the festival so that attendees will have plenty to eat and drink while they browse and shop. There will also be a solar powered music booth playing acoustic music along with a local DJ. An FREE eco-gift wrapping station will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to ride their bike to the festival and check it in at the bike valet.
Santa Ana was the original birthplace of the Patchwork festival, and is a great location for art lovers. The festival is located in the unique museum district close to Orange County’s downtown art spot. Patchwork Festival happens in the spring and fall in selected Southern California cities. This November there will be a Patchwork Festival in Long Beach on November 6 and Culver City on November 13. Delilah Snell, owner of The Road Less Traveled and Los Angeles artist Nicole Stevenson are the co-creators/producers of the Patchwork Festival. They work with volunteers to make the shows possible.
So mark your calendars for this artsy event that will help get all your holiday shopping done!
